Victims struggling with physical injury, property loss or emotional distress turn to us to help fill the most immediate gaps that crime has left. Help us meet those needs.
Overnight Bag
Making the choice to leave quickly often means leaving without the comforts of home. Atlanta Victim Assistance provides families overnight bags with the basic toiletries at each fire station.
Every fire station in Atlanta is now a SafeSPOT, a safe haven for victims of violence and abuse. A victim can walk into any Atlanta station where trained firefighters offer protection, medical attention and call the police, if the victim consents.
Provides one adult outfit, personal toiletries, public transportation card and a gift card for a meal.
Provides one adult outfit, two child outfits, personal toiletries, public transportation card and a gift card for a meal.

Transportation
Many victims don’t come to court because they don’t have bus fare. Help us make sure that the cost of a bus ride does not cost a victim his/her safety.

A New Start
Sometimes leaving is the only way to avoid violence at home. Often times leaving is financially difficult for victims of violence. Give a small amount to help victims make a new start at a peaceful life.
