The Need
According to the Georgia Commission on Family Violence and the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 123 Georgians were killed in domestic violence-related homicides in 2009.
Atlanta Victim Assistance responded to grieving family members in 9 of 10 domestic violence-related homicides that occurred in Fulton County.
